Just a quick update to let you know what's been happening with the PopGals network. I'm going to do away with the Facebook "PopGals Appreciation Society". It's too much work for too little return and, besides that, Twitter is better suited to advertising updates and vacancies - at least with Twitter you can opt-in to receive updates so you're more likely to get them :) I'm about to finalise changes to FantasyXtra; I'm hoping to have that project completed before the end of July. The Adult Search Engine/Directory that I'm building at PopGal.info (no "s" at the end) will be operational within the next 2 weeks; I just need to build a template for it.

This week will be fairly quiet. I have a nephew visiting me so will be spending time with him which means I'll be spending less time with my webistes. Family first (where merited) is one of my mottoes. However, PopGals will be updated just not as quickly as usual.

Little time to write today 'cause I've a lot doing this week so I'll start by saying thank-you to all visitors: you've helped PopGals gain ground in the very competitive adult world business arena. PopGals has been online for 3 months, has had over 300,000 unique visitors and, gratefully, many return visitors. Have I been a fucking busy bee or what? This week, not only have I re-organized and re-designed the site but I've added fucking thousands of gallery and movie links. I hope you appreciate it 'cause it's taken me over 70 hours of working my bollocks off to get things done inside a week; and I've still more to do. Who said the adult business was easy? Over the last few days I've received a few emails asking me how people can get into the adult industry so I thought I'd post a few tips.

• If you want to make a few dollars by starting an adult website then the best thing for you to do is visit FantasyXtra and look at the resources section which tells you the basics of getting a domain name, web hosting, publishing, publicizing and finding content. What a week...I've successfully created some new galleries to submit to TGP's. I've increased traffic to PopGals to over 1000 unique visitors per day (and it should only go up); not bad for 14 Day's work - PopGals launched 3rd April, I built the site 2nd April 2009. As you might imagine, I'm quite smug and happy at the moment; but not too proud to accept criticism - my first TGP fell foul of Internet Explorer bugs (as did this site). Another week, another day; and what a week and day it's going to be!

Firstly, there might be some minor glitches in the site but worry not 'cause I'm fixing them now. I thought I'd fixed them last week but it seems not. I use Linux and Firefox; unfortunately I don't readily have access to Windows and Internet Explorer so have to test my coding using a browser compatibility website which isn't always accurate. The good news is that if everything works well in FireFox and by the end of today should work well in IE 6, 7 and (maybe) 8. All other browsers should display the site well already. Why people use IE I do not know, I'm sure if IE users knew how much more webmasters must work to get their sites to work with IE then they'd donate us money for our extra work else move to FireFox.
